Shower Fizzies

July 21, 2016 Ashley Logan

Bath bombs are the best way to make your bath time a spa experience.  For people with really busy schedules shower fizzies are the next best thing!   Shower fizzies do not contain any oils or citric acid.  You don't want to slip on those oils in the shower and you don't need the extra fizz from the citric acid.  I used Wellness Mama's cold and sinus recipe here.

I did a few things different.  I only used 1/4 cup epsom salt and I added a few drops of fighting five (four thieves).  The aroma of eucalyptus, peppermint, rosemary, and fighting five is wonderful.

Be sure to add your water slowly.  I use a little spray bottle to add the water to be sure I don't accidentally add too much.

I use a simple cupcake tin as a mold.  Just scoop everything in and press it down.

I also did a second batch using citrus oils.  I used 20 drops each of grapefruit, lemon, and bergamot.  Citrus oils are known to be energizing and bergamot is known for enhancing your mood.  Those properties make this version of shower fizzy great for your morning routine!
